The Business Support Officer leads on the delivery of business monitoring and development. At the heart of the role is ensuring that the Arts Council has a thorough understanding of the performance of the organisations and initiatives it supports, monitoring activities which can include the performance of Revenue Funded Organisations (RFOs), analysis of financial and business information and the delivery of capital projects.
You will provide analysis, interpretation and evaluation of Business Plans and all financial information of the Arts Council of Wales Revenue Funded Organisations. This role may also include some development and monitoring of capital projects or other areas as necessary. You will also provide internal guidance and technical advice to our Senior Management Team and support clients through the provision of financial management and other business advice.
You will be part qualified or working towards a financial qualification, with experience of the preparation of financial accounts, interpretation and analysis of budgets, and audited and management accounts. Previous experience of monitoring and evaluating projects, risk analysis and internal control mechanisms along with cashflow preparation and analysis is also desired.
The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout Wales as part of the role.
