Council and its Committees

Arts Council of Wales and its delegated Committees.


Council appoints a number of committees to provide specialist advice and to make decisions within a framework of delegated powers. They are:

Ad hoc committees are set up for specific purposes, such as the Venice committee to oversee the organisation of the Arts Council’s presence at the Venice Biennale of Art.

All committees are made up of Council Members and co-opted individuals, and operate under specific terms of reference.
